Imagine If.......

Here are some sample pieces of the making stages of Twisted Pages next installation piece for the Waterfront Gallery in Southport, Merseyside. This decorative and sculptural piece will visually convey a variety of emotions and feelings including shame, loneliness, confidence and freedom. 


We are using our Twisted Pages quilling technique to depict this emotional roller-coaster of a journey through the medium of paper and creating a visual illustration of depression, using colour and shape to describe the feelings that a person struggling with depression may experience.

Update

Twisted Pages have been busy quilling away for our next exhibition 'Imagine If'. A delicate theme which explores two sides to depression and the many emotions both positive and negative that sufferers must battle with each and every day. 

The exhibition will open on the 19th May at the Waterfront Arts Project, The Promenade, Southport (Next to the Ramada hotel)

Liverpool Art Fair

Twisted Pages has entered the Liverpool Art Fair submission process!

The Art Fair will take place from the 31st of March to the 4th of June at  Camp and Furnace in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle. These are our entries, showcasing our quilled butterflies and birds, presented in different arrangements.

The Bellingham Hotel

These are some of the butterflies that will be part of the installation piece for the Bellingham Hotel in Wigan, Lancashire. This piece will be a large scale installation made up of these pretty, little paper butterflies and will feature in the newly renovated hotels wedding planning suite.

Just two of the colours that we will be using to create this large scale installation, with the largest number of butterflies that Twisted Pages have used in an installation.
